Jeffrey, good idea. I'm a Luminar fan too, and will see if the edges can be made less pronounced. |

Lorna, thanks. It is a white vignette that I got from processing in Luminar 4. It is the look I was shooting for. You all have given me ideas for making the image out in water. Will work on it. |

Very well done portrait. Just look at those eyes! Catchlights are fine as is the composition and tonality. A wall hanger. |

Karl, an interesting capture. Cindy nailed it and David gave me an idea. Composition could be improved by stepping to the left rail, thereby, putting the oil rig in exact center of the walkway far end. It's just an afterthought. I took it to Luminar 4 with the following result. It is too radical? |

Action and perfection in timing your image with both bikes front wheels off the ground. Tells a story of two guys racing intensity. The white ground that runs horizontally would be better cloned out. Well done. |

Color is OK and Monochrome is better in my view. David nailed it with the crop and increased contrast and composition change. The clouds are dramatic and your subject of the image is the abby. Cannot explain why I am in to vignetting, maybe it is because I recently bought into Luminar 4 software. It makes is so easy to create a vignettte which focuses a little more on the abby. |

A terrific portrait with composition, exposure, contrast spot on. I wonder what he is making. Color image is a little too flat for my eye. No improvement is necessary. |

For my eye the monochrome is best. Improvement would be showing the complete box rather than cutting part of it off. I took it in to Luminar 4 with this more contrasty result. Just another idea for a very interesting and old piece. I did make the vignette extreme to begin with and it stuck. |

Good idea thanks. Maybe a blue cloth to make it look like waves. |

Compostion, color, contrast and, sharpness are spot on. You captured the couples mood and feeling of cooperation with your photo. Good job.

Yes, it tells a story. I do get the feeling of the image that everyone is looking for their next move. I would not change a thing. Well done street shot. Monochrome works here. |

Nice street musician portrait. You certainly caught the artists feeling in this picture. I feel your technical treatment is excellent and needs no changes. For help, I may have backed up a little to get away from such a tight crop and show more context of where you were. It would be more street photography like. |

Thanks Geoff. I have other shots taken from a bridge that is downstream. Maybe I should have used one of those. I was trying to tell a story. This spot on the river is good for one person at a time. High skill level. I am not a fan of slow shutter speed water movement shots. Too many waterfalls with fuzzy water. |

Larry, thanks for commenting. My intent is to tell a story of water sports in the river. In this shot the waterboarder lost his balance and cannot recover. About 2.5 milliseconds after I pressed the trigger the water boarder fell off and got dunked. That is the name of the game. Even getting up on the board takes a lot of practice. The spectators are waiting their turn. |
