Nothing worng with the original being a jpg IMHO. If possible a wider and longer view might work as well. It seems a little too tightly cropped. A lot of interest is in the tree shadows, |

Yes, the monochrome is best in my view. The â…› second worked here because it is not overdone as most long exposure waterfall shots are. HDR is excellent. This would make a goood wall hanging. |

Yes, the water dripping along with the glossy bill make for action. The reflection and ripples give relation. For me, the monochrome is best. Possibly, could you add some sharpening without making it overdone? It seems a little soft. |

Very dramatic. The rain squall is what makes the picture. Could the horizon be shown a little more? The mountain is intriguing and jmight give it a little more context. |

Rather than crop, which changes the composition, I clone stamped the white sign out. |

Train! I love trains. This one has a great S curve and action. I like the composition with the engine nose in exactly the right uppper third. Where is this place? |

Same here, the smile on the girl's face is perfect. You certainly timed it right. Makes you imagine what the picture looked like in the mom's camera. Sharpness is excellent. Lets make mono'ed it a new word. Was this in a park or a venue? |

Thanks for sending the original. For me, it tells the story. Money in the mans hand is icing on the cake. Keep up the good work. |

Great street portrait. You got his cooperation and he looks like he is positively relating to you in creating the picture. The money in his hand makes me wonder if you had to pay him, like so many do. How about sending me the original picture. We are curious about the whole scene especially the mother. |

Hey, Geoff - great idea with turning it into monochrome and selective red lights. |

Telling a story is important in street photography. Same goes for sharpness and detail. This is not a pictorial group. The less post processing the better. |

Thanks for the dialog. Yes, it is a busy shot. Will go back on a morning and maybe try for some clouds. I don't like the construction barriers either. Actually, I was shooting this purposfully for this DD submission on a Covid-19 stay at home day with very little traffic. Shot several more with no traffic and decided on this one car. This is the busiest intersection in town and usually is loaded with vehicles. Ill go back for next month and try again. Appreciate you guys. |

Choice of using monochrome really works here. Especially in making the sky black. You found the perfect S-curve, also the right focal length for the image. You get my Good Eye award. Print it for the wall. |

Capturing emotion is difficult and, you sure did a great job in this image. Makes you wonder what is going on the the lady's mind. A terrific street shot. For me, I would not be concerned about ISO. There is no distraction. |

Timing is everything and you certainly nailed it. Orest said it best. Having the most forward foot on the ground is key IMHO. Warming filter use is good. Well done. |

A mistake. Yellow was set in the camera and I forgot to switch to red. Thank you for asking. |
