50 Mar 20 Comment Wandering is so truthful. The lesson for me with this image is to focus on a subject. Thanks everyone for your critiques. Mar 25th
50 Mar 20 Reply Thanks, Lorna. Agree on the background. I'm thinking about shooting only monochrome next month for the whole month. Well see what happens. Mar 21st
50 Mar 20 Comment Cindy, great idea. Here is an imperfect version. Mar 18th
50 Mar 20 Comment Terrific image with high contrast and a black sky which is my favorite. Print it. Mar 13th
50 Mar 20 Comment This is so interesting of an image. Very busy, which makes it fascinating. I would choose the monochrome version which has everything, contrast, composition and tonality. Mar 13th
50 Mar 20 Comment Very well done. Mar 13th
50 Mar 20 Comment Agree, the mono version is best. Great composition, contrast and, sharpness. I like your use of ISO 1600. Amazing that it was made through a car windshield. Mar 13th
50 Mar 20 Comment Monochrome is the best IMHO. I thought the faces are a little light so took the original to Photoshop Elements for another version. It is a very interesting street shot. Mar 13th
50 Mar 20 Comment Good job. I feel you have maxed out the conversion to BW. It would be nice to see a little more detail in the water. I like the compostion and contrast. Mar 13th

92 Mar 20 Reply Larry, did you know that you can copy his image to your computer and make your own mods? That way we can all see the result of your ideas. Like this. Mar 16th
92 Mar 20 Reply That is what struck me as well. I walked around the whole place and shot about 60 exposures. It was a nice day. And, no, we did not buy an ice cream, the line was too long. ha. Thanks. Mar 15th
92 Mar 20 Reply Luminary does a good job of replacing skies. Lots of replacements. Bad news is you cannot move replacement side to side. Mar 12th
92 Mar 20 Reply Ill try to remember that. Agree, you will probably do something not liked. It's a great image as is. Leave it alone. Mar 10th
92 Mar 20 Comment Great street capture. This is what it is all about. Did you buy a loaf?? Mar 10th
92 Mar 20 Comment It is symmetrical composition and well done all around. The sky is what it is, cloudy. Good street shot. Mar 10th
92 Mar 20 Comment Well done street shot! Color, composition, contrast are spot on. Agree the customer growing out the the pianist head is destracting. Suggest trying clone stamp tool with several brush sizes taken from the right a little at a time. Are your using PS Elements I forgot? Mar 1st
92 Mar 20 Comment Water looks like it is windy there. Tells the story of a fisherman checking his catch. Exposure spot on, sharp, with good contrast and composition. Good work. Mar 1st
