Boats are a terific subject for monochrome in my opinion. I feel the interest is the light toned boat in the center. The tonality, contrast and, composition are print worthy. A prize winner for sure. |

For me the color version is better for the reason it is a nature image which is better presented accurately. Making a square crop is perfect. |

A fine art work that is very well done. All comments before me are spot on. |

Welcome. Excellent technique in capture. Same goes for the technical aspects. Personally, I like the original better than the vertical perspective correction. You original makes the ceiling the subject of the picture. Your original is more creative, vibrant and, pictorial in my mind. |

To my eye it is a flat scene to begin with. More specifically the overall color is even and soft toned. The monochrome version works best and is very acccurate. For help, the sky is predominate. Possibly a little more water foreground would bring the structures into higher interest.

Nice capture of a beautiful scene. For me it is a little fuzzy. The closer crop of the the falls is good. Monochrome is best although a difficult choice. |

Thanks Lorna and Jeffrey for comments. Straightening the shed really helps as does the sky treatment. |

Monochrome is the way to go with this one. Agree with the eagerness shows. My first thought when I saw this picture was: that is way too much camera for this little girl. Really a great street capture. Making it a cropped portrait view works as well. Let us know some camera, capture specifics. |

Scary! A great example of having a camera with you at all times. You nailed it. Ill bet the scene was gone in a flash.

What fun to capture this Chevy Camaro which is the subject. In my mind the restaurant and the car combination tell the story. Good eye. For me, there is not engogh contrast and brightness for a cinema look. Wonder what it would look like in Monochrome/Sepia. Just a thought.

Nice street shot. The color, sharpness, and interest are great in my view. I get the feeling you had no time to make it a wider shot showing the toll collection or whatever building is on the right. |

Yes, I agree. Cropping the pole would make it better. Thanks,
