50 Oct 19 Comment For me, ISO 4000 rocks! We are too boxed in with low ISO for antiquated reasoning in this day of digital. Tonality and contrast are perfect for the subject. Have you tried shooting jpg and making the BW conversion direct in PS? Oct 5th
50 Oct 19 Comment I feel you did a great job of cropping to make the most of a picture of the overhead structure which is the original. This crys for more floor than cieling to make you eye lead into the picture rather than out of it. Its pretty flat. Oct 5th
50 Oct 19 Comment I'm not sure where the subject is. Monochrome is definitely better than color. Oct 5th
50 Oct 19 Comment Paul, The mono version I like best. In my view, the lack of a base for the door is distracting. A door needs a way to step inside the door. Having said that there could be some sort of other conflict which made for such a tight crop. Oct 5th
50 Oct 19 Comment For me, this is a terrific street photo. It tells a story, especially the look on the ladys face is like get out of here, this is my space. For help I would suggest you up the ISO to 1000 to 2000 and f/8 to make it sharper. Oct 5th
50 Oct 19 Comment David, many thanks for the comment. I agree with both of your adjustments. Oct 5th

92 Oct 19 Comment Good eye. This is street photography that tells a story. The composition and, tonality are spot on. Oct 22nd
92 Oct 19 Comment What great color and tonality. Portrait composition is ideal in my opinion. For help, try boosting the ISO to 3 or 4 thousand. automatic exposure would work here just fine.If you are using LR or PS the shadow and highlight tool would help correct to your liking. Oct 5th
92 Oct 19 Comment An excellent street shot in my opinion. Shot from the street! Perfect. Personally, I am shooting higher ISO all the time. ISO 100 was OK with film and it just seems to unnecessarily hang on and on and on. Experiment with 2000, even 4000 in daylight. Aperture priority and let the shutter speed find its own way. Try setting the camera to bracket 3 exposures at â…“ f stop and see what magic happens. Agree with everything Stephen said. Oct 5th
92 Oct 19 Comment Agree, the colors are very pleasing and photogenic. Good work. As a suggestion, I would make la wider view and a landscape compostion. That may give it more context of surroundings. You could still keep the waiter as the subject. Oct 5th
92 Oct 19 Comment In my view this is a great street image with color, contrast and, composition spot on. Good work. Incidentally, asking permission usually gets you a yes. Never fear. Oct 5th
