A wow shot in my view. Your use of HDR is spot on. Love the symmetry. Hindsight, being 20/20, says I might have moved the camera slightly to the left making the aisle in the exact center of the frame. Well done, thanks for sharing. |

In my mind the composition is terrific, as is the sharpness and timing with the power stroke left skate coming off of the ice. You nailed it. This image is very well done as is. I wouldn't want to second guess your choice of shutter speed. Monochrome is best. Good job. |

On first blush I thought the images to be a little soft. Contrast, tonality and composition are right on in my opinion. The border adds to the image. I took the liberty to crop it to 5x7 photo ratio and straightened the horizontal lines using the viaduct as the horizon line. Sharpening in PSCC at 121%. Love anything to do with trains. |

Hey, Gordon, great shot. I like the story and the subject along with the post processing. Yes, the story is there. In my mind it could be enhanced by a little tighter crop to square in order to bring the hiker near the top of hill into more prominence. How about posting the original color image and we can show our post creating skills. Ill be back. |

Excellent composition to my eye. You see right into the picture, go right up the mountain slope to rest at the top center. Well done. Good job of retouching out that chair lift. Lots of work. |

In my view this is a wow image. You have captured all the colors, exposure perfect, and composition excellent. I know you could make that sky contrast look like anything you want. I like it just as it is. |
