From an ordinary vase of tulips to extraordinary Barbara! The execution of your artistic vision is so inspiring. Love the water effects as eye control elements, creating a sense of movement and dynamism to the lines, shapes, colors of the tulips. Also the angled perspective and framing elements and out of the box elements. Wonderful color pallet and choice of black juxtaposed against the rich reds and greens enriches the intensity of the image. |

Taking account of Mary's comment re foreground element, I decided to review advice to "crop ferociously" and took some off the top (sky) and the bright green foreground grass which draws my eye. Then readjusted the whites. Grass still strong pulling my eye so I added graduated filter reducing exposure, hightlights and saturation of greens. |
