I feel the bright foreground hayfield blocks my entry into this lovely multi layered pastoral image a bit, so I cropped it to make the eye control element of the tracks closer & more defined to bring you in. While in LR, I brightened the trees and as well as the series of arches; boosted contrast, temp, and opened their shadows. The fields & beyond up the hillside also got a contrast boost to help them pop, and I removed some overlapping windmills in attempt to simplify scene. Lovely rhythm as I move through the scene Pierre and a pleasing landscape including the old and the new.

70 Apr 21 Comment Shooting into the misty early morning light peeking through under the trees and back-lighting the red grasses of fall draw me in. Just a lovely mood and atmosphere. The barn with its see through window view is a great supporting element. There's an implied line along the right edge of the red grasses that points to the barn window as does the line formed where the mowing stops. Personally I'm drawn to the light and the mysterious untamed wilder left side and feel a bit can be cropped off the right side to eliminate the bright field on the right edge and de-center the barn. Also pull some more detail out of the barn siding. Apr 20th

Perhaps on future trips you could try a long exposure of 30 seconds with a 10 stop ND filter to rid your image of people. If everyone keeps moving, it should work fairly well.

This linear graphically strong foreground element makes this landscape image more interesting and eye-catching and allows me to study the view as if I was standing there alongside you. Landscape is composed of foreground, middle ground, and background.

It also adds depth and provides a sense of scale, which helps me understand how extensive the scene is. In addition, the text asks questions and causes me to pause and analyze its context.

Well seen, composed, and processed Todd. Pleasing muted color palette.

From the eye controlling path entering from the left corner to the path originating from right lower side, together they act as leading lines and form an implied triangle with the deer at its apex. The ferns on the bottom left frame, the tree branches flanking the enticing glow of light beyond and the sun rays on the right all direct your attention to the deer. The glow and rays add depth to the image. A realistic view of nature and life in the wild.

The scene is full to overflowing of elements; the only suggestion I might experiment with is to do some "digital gardening" and remove some of the slight distractions that catch my attention such as the many small bright white areas and bright logs to reduce their draw on my eye and make this simpler and less cluttered.
