Good point Gary about the bordering red areas acting as blocks to keep eye within the image. Thanks. |

The range of tones and colors, contrast, and flow as my eye explores deep into the image makes quite an impact. It keeps me engaged as I journey through. I like the crop and how the tree trunks have been "lightened" and brought forward by bringing out the vegetation growing up them. Agree it reminds me of Cherry blossom season! So much to explore with IR. |

I like Lisa's suggestion. IR produced a dramatic sky set off by the orchard trees and the stark, angular hard dark truck provides a prominent subject. To create some change between the severe sky and truck in hopes of increasing the dynamic energy I tried softening the unusual foliage effects on the trees. |

Strong triangular composition of an urban cityscape with good balance and contrast. Secondary support of pinkish buildings supported by like colored faux tree foliage adds to and broadens their visual weight. Strip of river provides a solid base to the image. Nice treatment. Might want to consider darkening the white building to left that distracts & draws my eye. Perhaps more detail can be drawn out of the sky. |

I enjoy the peaceful quiet oasis of solitude you found in a bit of dappled light; very nice. Your choice of shutter speed has made a nice effect on the water ripples, and the foliage going down the side and bottom of the image frame it nicely. I felt the tree added to the framing element, so I cropped out what was beyond it as not adding much value. |

Depth of field was created with the diminishing perspective of the repetitive lines, patterns, and shapes drawing my eye back through the image to the faux color of the organic foliage. The treatment under the eves removing most of the shadows is a bit unresolved for me. The strong inorganic colors of the station wall draw my eye so I cropped out the biggest offender. Nicely seen and developed. |
