I'm away and not able to crop/see it square; do you think that would work to eliminate the distracting foreground weed element? |

LOVE the back lit wave; perfect choice of speed and moment and color. The island gives it scale & balance but doesn't compete. |

You succeeded; I get a very cold and desolate feeling looking at this image. Prefer the pano as more water/sky don't add to the story. Great color.
It might be interesting to explore the glacier wall on left for an abstract graphical crop or fine art image. |

Beautiful nicely captured scene of the terraces in West Java; thanks for taking me there for a peek.
Love all the lines & colors. To nit pik, I found the palms at the bottom slightly soft, so I cropped it out as well as the bright distracting bridge on the left. To me it's a simpler scene.
The white panel on the house and the building upper right corner I find bright and grabbing my eye so I darkened them.

What a beautiful timeless place to shoot; the old South at it's best.
While I enjoy the original composition showing the entry way onto the plantation through the fenced fields, I am distracted by the fluctuation of blues in the sky through the trees from pale to over saturated. The crop helps that, but I still like the full view best. What was the focal length of the lens? |

Love the mists down on the valley floor, the buildings providing sense of scale compelling viewer to keep their eye roving to the delightful discovery of the rainbow.
Perfect vantage point; were you on a road crossing a mountain pass? How did you get up there? Another story I bet.
I only wish the the foreground flowers were based on the ground rather than just showing their heads.
Wonderful pano. |

Lovely feeling from this image Lamar; wide and deep. Don't think it looks manipulated.
Would you know if your camera color space was set on the Adobe rgb color space with camera setting to standard or neutral?
Also, using the camera manufacturers software for importing raw files is generally preferred as they know the file best. Third party such as Lightroom and Photoshop guess at what they think is the proper setting for color space, white balance, exposure, etc.
That said, I still tend to just use Lightroom to import my card data but I'm aware that I should consider using 1st party software. |
