Thanks for the comments. I was hasty in my work and didn't thoroughly pre-visualize all the aspects under my control of my finished image. I have an app on my phone "Depth of Field" but didn't check it; it would have helped me here for sure.

I feel a sense of abandonment with the overwhelming overgrowth of brush and weeds which caught in full bloom provide foreground interest. The gnarly tree appears as dead as the two stark chimneys which still show where the roof line was. A house lost, and time marches on. There's a story here for sure. |

Nice capture of the Milky Way in spite of the light pollution down at the bottom. So difficult to find dark skies anymore on the East Coast. Perhaps on another night you could find that interesting gnarled tree for foreground interest and shooting low silhouette it against the light horizon. Or light-paint it. |
