I think you nailed it Israel. No need to say any more. It is just a beautiful image in either mono or color, but I do like it better in mono. You are both the photographer and artist on this one, and in my opinion you did an excellent job. |

Very nice image Bob. Strategic crop too since you eliminated that out of focus branch at the lower right in the color image. I was in Townsend last October and just a bit late for optimum colors, but I still got some good stuff. Hard to beat the Smokey Mountains at any time of the year. Nice waterfall. |

Very nice image Oliver. Professional photographer David Yarrow also leaves the tripod at home (or in the camp). He commonly anchors and aims his Nikon in a pile of dried elephant dung along a well used trail and triggers shots using a remote release (at a very safe distance) when they come by. Also uses some type of boxes with the camera implanted. Elephants have tended to kick the Nikon down the trail... deliberately. He's on the web. Fantastic wildlife photographer is David... your not bad either. Try elephants next month. |

That is a very cool image LuAnn. I would like to try doing something similar. I'm thinking there might be a website to describe the setup since I'm not real sure how you arranged your apparatus. Very neat shot. I must explore. |
