Hi Israel. I very much like this image, and I'm sure you have many, many more from your Namibian adventure. I think LuAnn and Oliver gave you some excellent suggestions. There are some very nice contrasts and wind patterns in sand dunes - they make for interesting subjects and are always a challenge - nice job on this one. What else do you have from Namibia? |

Nicely done Bob - other than Oliver's suggestion, I could not think of anything that would make an improvement. You pretty much nailed this one in my view. |

I like your take Oliver. Putting more contrast in the tree leaves and ground put more punch in the image, but that eye is a little too strong for my taste. Please continue to work things over for me - all comments are appreciated. |

But you are learning well Hattie - great action shot of a leap that I know I will never attempt. I bet you like that D850 - nice image. |

Yeah, a little more ominous look in those clouds would not hurt LuAnn, but you nailed the empty bench and child swing with the power station behind - kinda think it might work better as a color image, but a thought provoking subject at any rate. |

Love the ominous look in your monochrome image Oliver - much more graphic than what is seen in the color shot. Is it possible that the original and the monochrome are two different images? Never the less, if its an approaching storm you were headed in the wrong direction - possibly why you never saw another car. Very dramatic at any rate. I give it my seal of approval making you an official meteorological photographer. |
