Israel - I think Oliver gave you many fine tips to help strengthen an already fine image. I wanted to experiment and see what a closer crop would do. Smoke coming from that stump kind of draws my eye away from the subject, but putting things a little tighter still gives an ethereal feel to this very attractive young lady - so how come my wife doesn't send me to a model workshop? |

Julie - I think you got that spontaneous pose the all of us want, but seldom get. Its a great image and brings out the true character in the subject - kind of contagious in that it wants to make the viewer smile or laugh too - go with it. |

Hattie - I like Oliver's take on your image. You are very good a capturing people at their occupation. I always liked your painter/subject composition that you presented a few months back - no matter how you slice it (a little bakery humor), its a neat shot. |

Oliver - I think you made a very earnest attempt at doing something a little different. I definitely like the composition of the Lotus leaf, but found the raggedness on the bottom and left edge to be a bit distracting. I cropped it tighter to home in on what I really think you intend the subject to be - you know, that old border patrol thing. Great image - you done good. |
