I always go to my group first to see what everyone has put in, but then its off to Group 5 to check out Cooke - virtually never disappointed. David has given me so many great tips and ideas due to his detailed explanations and his willingness to share, both with DD and on his website. Another homerun David - thanks again.

Yeah, in my mind this is a very strong image that conveys a sense of power or as you say, energy. I especially like the use of a wide angle lens down low. I would leave the people in so that there is a sense of scale - very well done Paul. |

Points well taken Paul - I think I should probably do the same on the back of his hand. Thanks |

I too like this as a monotone image Hattie. Tarzan's loss must have been difficult - a very nice photograph to compliment his years of loyalty. |

You pretty much nailed this one down Oliver. It is different and more contrasty - not sure the artist would agree with B&W because he or she obviously felt that a variated red-yellow-black composition was the way to make his or her statement. I have no problem with your take because I realize you are attempting to add to the impact, and that is what DD is, in part, all about. The actual artist may not agree with a monotone interpretation, but I like the way you did it. |
