Shirley - you are 100% correct about the horizon leaning to the right, but that's what keeps the water in the ocean!
(only being a wise guy - thanks for pointing it out) |

Very colorful and well done image Malabika. you might consider cropping a little tighter, but I still like keeping the background dancers in the image - to me they add to the storyline. You must have been able to take many more colorful shots with all the other cultural events as you described. That would make for a great portfolio. |

A very colorful, well composed shot Al. Instead of cloning out objects, I like Steve's composition by cropping tighter - it does cut off some of your subject baskets, but that does not bother me - I feel it concentrates the viewer's eyes on the points of interest. Hope you don't mind that I took a stab at it. |

Another wonderful shot Hung - I agree that the yellow metal does distract somewhat, but I like the background - it does not bother me - she is in her element. A very colorful, nice capture - well done. |

Wonderful shot Shirley - I don't think there is anything to improve. It is certainly a prime example of why we have an eagle as a national symbol and not a turkey - very majestic, very colorful, and very dramatic. |

Wow - that is dramatic. I did a "Dragan" on myself and actually it made me look better - so what can I say? If you visit Andrzej Dragan's website you will see far more dramatic renditions than this, and actually this effect is suppose to give that effect - It is, to me, very stunning and eye catching - like the background too. I certainly think Andrzej would find favor with it - now try one on a self portrait! |
