Great image! It does capture the feeling of concentration on the task and tells the story of family work. I think it works very well as B&W. |

Beautiful expanse. The openness of the foreground leading to the mountains gives that sense of vastness that these scenes invoke. Works well in B&W and that adds to the drama. |

Beautiful portrait of this bird. Love the look of the water in the background. I didn't notice the leaf at first because my eye was drawn to the patterns of the water. You could remove it or make it all brown. Not a big deal either way. Yes, the goldfinches here in the west are more "gold" and not such an intense yellow. |

Definitely a B&W image. I agree with Dennis about cropping a little off the top where there isn't much interest. Maybe lightening up the cover a smidge to see if more texture comes through, but otherwise, good job. |

Wonderful image! Lucky you to get a permit. The figure in the photo gives such a great sense of scale. Looks like a fellow photog with his tripod. You did a great job of capturing the colors. Well done. |

Pheasants are so striking. For me, the vignette is a little too dark. Agree with Sol and David about selecting the background and toning it down. Good capture of the bird though. |
