I see what you mean. Would still give a sense of place without being distracting. Thanks |

My first response was Wow! Beautiful shot. The people give such a great sense of size and perspective also. I love the colors and the tone of the image. |

Nice shot of the bird landing. Not easy to do. Agree about lightening the dark parts of the birds and either cropping out more sky or adding a better sky. I haven't gotten into doing that, but may think about having a sky collection. |

I reacted to this right off the bat. I think this exposure is great. It shows the color of the water in addition to the colors or the reflections. I have mixed feelings about the bright walkway on the lower left. It distracts a little from the bridge, but to remove it would remove the feeling of expanse. |

Very dramatic. Timely. Great texture and contrast. |

Nice work! So sharp. I think I agree with Dennis about cropping a little off the left. The diagonal positioning of the bug is perfect. |

I do love the feel of the huge, open sky that this has. Cropping off some of the foreground might help to make it just about the sky. The ground and trees don't really add any pop other than grounding the sky. |

I have one without the surf also. I included it to give a sense of place, but yes, can be distracting also. |
