Beautiful. And what patience on your part. Love the pop of the red on the male. A little cropping on the right would tighten it up. David's is too much. And, yes, brightening the birds a bit would really make this stunning. |

Pretty!Like an impressionistic painting. If you could bring the contrasts between the shades up a bit, it would make it even better. I would suggest either enlarging the water, like Neal said, or cropping it out and just having the hills. Very peaceful. |

Beautiful bird. I like the whole bird, with the foot under water, as it is all clear. I would remove the reddish things, as they distract. The expression is great! Almost flirtatious. Is this an east coast duck, or from somewhere more exotic? |

Great shot. Love these. I like to do this with the harvest from my own garden. I like what David did to tone things down around the edges and remove the blue. I do love the squiggly red pepper, which makes a perfect center. |

I can see why this would be a favorite. I think the texturing adds to the mood of the shot. The colored flowers make it all pop. I just learned that my new Sony camera can be set to do this kind of photo right in the camera. Modern technology. :) |

I did a little dehazing, noise reduction and sharpening. I removed some duck butts from the background. Will give your suggestion a try. |
