I love this just as it is - don't change a thing. It's very contemplative and pulls the viewer in to gradually soak all that's there to be found. Bravo! |

Gorgeous flower, Carol. Your treatment of the background makes for a good compromise with such a large aperture. I do prefer the post-processing that Lance has done. |

Great tonal range for a monochrome. Your aperture was a bit large for this shot, resulting in softness where the eye wants more detail.
I took it into Topaz Photo AI and removed a little noise and added some sharpening. Thoughts? |

You were definitely in the right place at the right time. The top branch was a bit close, but with nature shots, you get what you can.
I brightened the bird a bit, and even more on its eyes, to help it stand out some more from the background. |

While I love the warmth of your result, I find a lot to enjoy about your original. I did some cropping and cleanup and finally flipped it horizontally. Thoughts? |

You've taken a cute pic of your pooch with a less-than-desirable background and made it into a delightful portrait. Lots of fun and I can come up with nothing to improve it. |

I love the moodiness of this image. The warmth of the scene is very soothing. I do think a bit of cropping would help finish it. What do you think? |

The glare on her skin and in her glasses is certainly distracting. In one sense, there's too much of the environment fighting for focus. I tried reducing the glare and cropping to bring more focus onto her. Thoughts? |

As noted by others, both a crop and cleaning up the edges of the hills is in order to finish this. Here's my take on it: |
