24 Jan 23 Comment I love this just as it is - don't change a thing. It's very contemplative and pulls the viewer in to gradually soak all that's there to be found. Bravo! Jan 26th
24 Jan 23 Comment Alas, this was a total failure as all have indicated. d:¬{( Jan 26th
24 Jan 23 Comment Nothing more to add from what's already been said. You done good, Fred! d:¬{D Jan 26th
24 Jan 23 Comment Gorgeous flower, Carol. Your treatment of the background makes for a good compromise with such a large aperture. I do prefer the post-processing that Lance has done. Jan 26th
24 Jan 23 Comment Great tonal range for a monochrome. Your aperture was a bit large for this shot, resulting in softness where the eye wants more detail.

I took it into Topaz Photo AI and removed a little noise and added some sharpening. Thoughts?

53 Jan 23 Comment You were definitely in the right place at the right time. The top branch was a bit close, but with nature shots, you get what you can.

I brightened the bird a bit, and even more on its eyes, to help it stand out some more from the background.

53 Jan 23 Comment While I love the warmth of your result, I find a lot to enjoy about your original. I did some cropping and cleanup and finally flipped it horizontally. Thoughts? Jan 26th
53 Jan 23 Comment You've taken a cute pic of your pooch with a less-than-desirable background and made it into a delightful portrait. Lots of fun and I can come up with nothing to improve it. Jan 26th
53 Jan 23 Comment I love the moodiness of this image. The warmth of the scene is very soothing. I do think a bit of cropping would help finish it. What do you think? Jan 26th
53 Jan 23 Comment The glare on her skin and in her glasses is certainly distracting. In one sense, there's too much of the environment fighting for focus. I tried reducing the glare and cropping to bring more focus onto her. Thoughts? Jan 26th
53 Jan 23 Comment As noted by others, both a crop and cleaning up the edges of the hills is in order to finish this. Here's my take on it: Jan 26th
