I have to agree, in this case, I like the color so much more. I love the colors and the sunset. The B/W is more dramatic in some ways, but colors are what this photo is about. Keep submitting! It is difficult in competitions especially in landscape division but you definitely have what it takes. Gorgeous photo! |

Very nice and a good save of the underexposed section. Only issue I wish the pole and the one fisherman weren't overlapping. Then the silhouette of him would be more defined. Good shot. |

Very nice effect with the long exposure. Love this shot with the slow water effect on the rocks out in the ocean. Those birds look really nasty, but colorful. |

I really like this in B/W. It creates such a dramatic mood. The lines in the mountains just bring you right in. No suggestions. Love it the way it is. |

The composition is very nice. I wanted to add a bit more punch. I added just a bit more contrast then added a layer for the midtones using a luminosity mask and put that layer in blend mode of multiply to deepen them, then a touch of burn around the lower edges. |

Beautiful shot. I took both versions next to each other. It seems that taking the blue down brought out the grasses more which I liked. So I also think that maybe adjusting the balance per area to bring both sky and grass to pop may be an option. However, I do really like the shot as originally done too, it just provides a little different effect on the whole photo. |
