I love this shot. The bridge is sharp and the city behind it is not the main point of interest and I think is fine not totally in focus. Did you use a filter or post processing technique to get the star bursts. f/11 is still a bit open to get that defined of a star burst. The lighting is very nice. I like shots done this late. I wish those whitish columnar things in the front weren't there but there is not much we can do about those. Beautiful shot! |

A beautiful composition. As mentioned, it's a little crooked. I also noticed the rocks in front are a bit bluish. A little overexposed on the front water. Other than the shot being a bit crooked, the composition is great. Lovely shot. Also, thanks for providing info on landscape focus stacking. I'm going to check those out and apply. |

What a photograph project you gave to yourself. It shows a real passion in photography. I agree that a little light on the lighter portions of the trees on the right could be enhanced a bit. Compositionally (is that a word) it is right on for this particular type of shot. Very nice. |

To get the feeling of the shoal and that you want to convey that one can get stuck out there, I agree that a high elevation shot needs to be done. Perhaps, as Frans suggested in using a drone. (even though I am beginning to hate those things with more and more tourists starting to use them). I also agree the curved horizon could be a bit less in it's curvature. A very interesting story and one hard to convey in a single photograph. |
