Oh my, such wonderful comments were already left to provide a lot of feedback. Anyway, I love the warm colors on this. It does give me the 'happy' feel you are wanting to express in this photo. I'm glad to see you are using the Sony a6000. I have one as well and need to get out shoot with it more. I agree with Judy on the idea of using a smaller aperture to get more depth of field and that you could just up the ISO a bit to accommodate for it. |

This is a very cool shot. Good job. You are so correct in the need for pre-visualizing and then working to get the best possible shot with what is there. The barge blends in so well it is not noticeable. I don't have anything that could add to this. I think it is great the way it is. |

You definitely succeeded on capturing the power and size of these waves. I see you were using a more telephoto lens so I assume you didn't get wet. I'm glad the mirroring was caught and corrected. I also think you could crop down just a tad. I think this is a great shot. Great force of the waves and the lighting on the waves is nice as well. |

Very nice. I love the way the road and fences take you into the photo. I also love the way the front tree frames the others. A very serene shot. I'm wondering if maybe you can use a luminosity mask to just select the bright sky and add a touch of blue tint to it. |

I'll be in Oregon in May and hope to get a few photos like this as well. Nice shot. I agree with the idea of cropping a bit off the right to bring the rock into a better position. Also to increase some tonal contrast, bring up exposure on the rock and down on the light grasses on the left side. So, just the basic stuff since you are starting with a flatter raw file. |

I think you got the colors and light just right. I love the way the foam reflects lights and colors of the sunrise. I don't know how to improve it. Maybe cropping from the left a bit, but then I agree with Judy, that it would then take you out of the photo. Nice job. |
