Image has a kind of wild and untamed flavor with all those limbs. The b&w version from Glen seems to blend those limbs into the sky and thereby bring the focus downward and onto the icy water features where I think you intended it to be. To further that movement, I suggest to increase the contrast a bit on the pond using a mask or equivalent. |

Brings a fresh look, for sure! Resolution looks a bit sketchy, but the full file might support the crop. Thanks! |

Very creative approach to bring to feature an interesting subject, from within a visually complex setting. I applaud your approach to the problem! |

The background vignette is a useful addition here, IMO. |

Delightful image and composition that integrates all the picture elements well! The foreground detail looks nice and sharp. Well done! |

A scintillating abstraction! I am guessing the building is flat-faced, but the grid lines within the white and the blue regions make it appear stepped going across horizontally. Also, I do not object to the slightly angled right edge -and think it adds a bit of tension to the regular geometry of the building-face. Nicely seen and captures!

Very absorbing , tropical perch that opens out into the misty valley. You are fortunate to have access to such a paradicical locale! Increasing you dof with a smaller aperture would add detail and increased sense of depth to this remarkable image.

Thanks, Kathryn! Well, it is a 12 MP image and the details in the distance become pixellated unless I reduce the size of the image accordingly upon cropping.

Thanks, Pierre! The point of view is in the midst of a slight curve, and the orientation of the floor boards tends to be disorienting. Also, I tried to level compose the scene so that the top rails appeared to be on the same level. Thanks for your suggestions.
