Very nice image of this beautiful place! Nature's majesty does not get much better than this. The foreground water and reflections are used well here. |

The notch in the opposing mountain ranges makes a natural focal point which is well used in the composition. I agree that the monochrome version is the better of the two. Your camera produces very little noticeable noise in the shadows. There is a noticeable darker line of demarcation at the tonal transition between the mountain and sky on the left side, but it is not particularly objectionable. Very nice work ! |

The flattened sea with misty aura over the water and rocks creates a mood of serenity, accompanied by the featureless sky. Composition is noteworthy featuring the rocks on the beach paired up with those out in the surf along a diagonal line. The interest factor would be considerably higher if you had included those cassowaries running along the beach at 35 mph ( toward the photographer! ). I have only seen them in captivity, but they are fearsome birds which I understand are very territorial! |

This image is an excellent characterization of Mallorca's rugged south coast. The slender cut in the mountains looking out toward the Mediterranean looks to be the feature of this particular composition. To strengthen that view point, I suggest considering a portrait framing to eliminate some of that visually dominating wall on the right side. |

It is an absorbing image with a strong environmental flavor. It could benefit from the additional impact by cropping out much of the dark foreground. The polygonal framing is an interesting element. |

While I like both versions, the color is the better image to my eye. With all the details in this rolling landscape, the limited contrast in black & white makes it difficult to pick out and to appreciate all the information. The color version is much easier to assimilate. As to the color version, it might be useful to apply a slight vignette to the periphery - to obscure the bottom right corner just a bit. |

Thanks, Glen and Jack! This was my original file( raw) converted to jpg for this upload. The white balance was on auto and it looks about right to my eye. There was minimal adjustment of contrast with curves adj. layer. I could explore further selective adjustment of the sky per your comments.
Kind regards,
