Nice, light and sunny image! From the angle of the sun I would expect to see long shadows cast by the bushes and tree: where did the shadows go?? |

Use of a large aperture (f/4.5) provded limited d.o.f. and permits photographer to emphasize the jogger as the subject of the image - and to de-emphasize( slightly ) the busy/complex environment in the background. |

The mission of this board was changed from "landscapes" to "landscapes and city-scapes" a while ago. My first impression was this is more of a street photography type of image. However, it does permit an interpretation of buildings and sidewalks of the city and its denizens. |

Spectacular vantage point! Plenty of variation in light and sky in whichever direction the eye goes. Great image. |

This a fairly unique setting for a waterfall surrounded on three sides by the deeply chiseled, rocky environs. The lighting needed for an effective photograph must have been a challenge, and your selection of light is very meritorious in bringing out both the fall and rock detail. Exposure duration was long enough to effectively average out water movement into a smooth flow. |

The shadows from the dunes provide a pleasing element , and contribute to the overall harmony of the image. This long view of the shore lacks any one focal point, but instead, emphasizes the flow of the sand and light along this strand. Very nice! |

Your B&W version is from my vantage point the stronger image. It seems to deemphasize the cropped, distant mountain which I found to be a bit unbalancing in your color version. The colored lamps compete somewhat with your runner. I suspect it is better to leave the lamps uncolored. |
