70 Apr 18 Comment From your image we can make a few observations:

a. Your are definitely getting some infrared light influence on the sensor as seen by the very light highlights in the trees and the overall red hues of the image. I would hazard a guess that a combination the cold morning temerature and position of the sun on the horizon is limiting the amount of infrared light to be scattered by the vegetation; or maybe the image is just a bit underexposed. In good sunlight the vegetation that scatters infrared light efficiently ( e.g. palms and evergreens ) will glow white.

b. Your foreground details look pretty sharp and in focus. The trees on the right side look a bit soft and indistinct, perhaps from the aperture used. If you did not recalibrate the autofocus point on your camera, I think you will find that it has some error with infrared light. Old lenses for manual SLR cameras used to have a separate mark for infrared film on the distance scale.

c. I do not know the particulars of your infrared filter, but would guess from this image that you would be able to convert the image to a "false color" infrared if you desire, yielding surreal looking images. You can find information on the web about how to do this, or we can converse off line if you like. Filters that cutoff all of the visible spectrum above deep infrared do not lend exposures that support the false colors.

70 Apr 18 Comment Very nice composition locating the farm shed near the 1/3 x 1/3 point in the frame as the anchoring element. The very green grass and bare trees imply that we are in early spring here. The ground elements present a positive picture of the future while the sky paradoxically projects a somewhat ominous state from those malevolent looking , low clouds. Sometimes a nearby fire will produce smoke like this, but it is unusual to find clouds with this tonality. This is not intended as a statement of a good nor bad feature to have this tension- just something to be aware of. Apr 19th
70 Apr 18 Comment The moss rocks and extra large ferns ensure that this locale will emerge from your image as a tropical rainforest in its natural and undisturbed state. The water of the stream through the slope and in the pool below is silky smooth. Shifting the white point to brighten up the whites in the water would be a good direction to add to the image's impact. Very nicely done! Apr 19th
70 Apr 18 Comment A pleasing nautical locale featuring a weathered wharf and some warm colors on the horizon. The glassy water's surface, averaged over the long shutter cycle, adds a mood of tranquility. The composition leaves much dead space on the left side, and coupled with the lack of a foreground element, makes the image slightly out of balance to my eye. Another choice would have been to swing the camera to the right and make the wharf occupy a larger fraction of the frame. Apr 19th
70 Apr 18 Comment The image certainly captures the flavor of the mountainside development of picturesque, whitewashed masonry dwellings of all shapes and sizes. The windmill and domed structure to its right particularly stand out pleasingly against the evening sky. Comparing your original image, the white balance has shifted noticeably toward a warmer temperature. This in turn makes the whitewashed plaster turn to a rose hue. Even more significant is the shift in the outdoor lights from a near white toward the spectrum of a sodium light, to my eye, a severe look and not a good direction to take here. Apr 19th
