87 Apr 26 Comment Hi Cindy..Sorry to be so late (work issues). I agree with everyone that the Japanese Maple tree is the main focal point. You display this perfectly. As Chan mentioned, perhaps desaturate and soften the background somewhat as a means to emphasize the tree more. Nice work! Apr 7th
87 Apr 26 Comment Great image...makes me think and keeps my eyes glued to the photo! I really like the contrast between the upper and lower portions. The inclusion of the tree (nature) adds to the story. I also like the rivets and believe they provide an element of realism. Overall photo is a very good combination of both realism and abstract. 87 Apr 26 Comment Wow! What a great image! The details are fantastic and keeps my eyes moving throughout the photo. I love the Selenium tone of the image as well. In your final image, the tonal contrast really stands out well. I also like that you removed the people in the final image, which keeps our focus on the structure itself. 87 Apr 26 Comment Excellent image, very creative! I like the glow overall and in particular around the individual cattails. I also have never used Lensbaby, but I agree that it has similarity with the Orton effect. Thanks for sharing this and for explaining how this is done. Apr 7th
