Thanks Steven! I looked at the photo a hundred times but didn't "see" the distracting blades of grass. I also put a vignette on this, but not enough and will add more. Thanks for the insights! |

Nice image! I agree with you that the image you chose with the crowds has a greater interest and story line that the original. The background and the clouds really add to the image story line and make it real. Also, your emotional connection to this photo really stands out and adds to the quality of the photo. Thanks for sharing this with us! |

Very nice image using focus stacking. The colors are excellent and the diagonal composition is perfect. I've never really tried focus stacking, so I am at a loss for any suggestions. I do agree that there is so much to learn! Thanks for sharing this and making me think! |

Wow, very nice photo! I could look at this for hours. The overall sharpness and diagonal lines take my eyes throughout the photo. I also really like the tonal gradients throughout the image. A couple of thoughts, could the white dots on the lower right of the photo be a distraction? Would removing them keep focus on the architecture itself? Just some thoughts to consider. Very nice work! |

Nice action photo! I agree with the others that you accomplished your goals...the sharpness and motion blur on the same person was handled very well. You also captured the concentration and facial expression perfectly. Also, nice reminder about ND filters...I wouldn't have thought of that. Thanks for the lesson. |

Great image! I really like the diagonal composition and how you handled the background. The colors are very good and the petals show both detail and a certain softness needed with flowers. Very nice!
I am also impressed by how you utilized Photoshop on this...I'm learning.
As far as the B&W photos, in my opinion only the end flower looks slightly brighter. The others look good. My preference is #3, however all of these photos would look good hanging on a wall. |

Excellent image! I like the sharpness and detail of the bee and its color matches extremely well with the flowers. I also like the composition, notably that you included some of the flowers ahead (to the left) of the bee. This creates a complete perspective of the bee and its work. This is a learning lesson for me as in my past close-up photos of bees I generally only include the bee itself with very little else. Your photo is way better. Thank you!
As far as the banding, I personally do not see it, which may be the result of my monitor. Either way, this is an excellent photo! |
