87 Jul 25 Comment Very nice photo! The composition overall is great with the silhouette ducks and their diagonal movement through the water. I like the contrast of the rippled water and the ducks which the monochrome really brings out. The story line (and title) is excellent. As I looked over the photo I was going to suggest to possibly look into cropping some of the top portion. However, in further study of the image, the vastness of the lake seems to add to the story line. Very nice, thanks for sharing! Jul 6th
87 Jul 25 Comment I appreciate your continued efforts in perfecting your humming bird images. I agree that these are improving and no, I am not getting tired of these photos! I am inspired that you continue to work at it! I agree with Chan and Jennifer on the bird feeder and the background. Some thoughts...perhaps using LR or PS, darken the feeder somewhat to take the focus off of it. In addition, possibly darken the background and remove some of the glare. These things may help the bird to stand out a little more. This is a nice photo...thanks for sharing and thanks for your inspiration! Jul 6th
87 Jul 25 Comment Very artistic image! The sharpness at the center immediately catches my attention, and the curved lines direct my eyes through the image. In my opinion this is a very nice abstract work of art. Thanks for sharing! Jul 6th
87 Jul 25 Comment Great image! I like the concentration of the man's face as it shows that he is really focused on his work. In my opinion, the inclusion of the furnace along with the beads of sweat on his face really completes the story line of this image. The furnace also adds a little rim lighting to the man's face which is very nice. As Jennifer noted, the inclusion of the chalkboard also adds to the story. Well done, thanks for sharing this! 87 Jul 25 Comment This is an excellent image! I like the fact that you made this impressionist image using a photo of people. I have been focusing on flowers, but what you have done with this photo is very impressive. I have been experimenting with PS, using their filters (brush strokes) and the splatter preset. Mine is a work in progress. However, what you have done here really stands out and I would say a true impressionist work of art. My only thought regarding your photo would be to possibly blur the girls face a little more as it seems to stand out compared to the rest of the image. Thank you for sharing this image and especially thank you for the inspiration! Jul 6th
87 Jul 25 Comment Very nice and intriguing image! I like the story line of solitude in this photo and note that the solitary tree in the background adds to this. I agree with the comments of Steve and Cindy on post-processing of the image. Thank you for sharing! Jul 6th
