Very interesting! As an FYI, PSA has a webinar on cloud photography titled "Dance With The Clouds" by Hema Narayanan (https://psa-photo.org/page/webinars). I've taken this and is very interesting. |

Thanks Steven. I appreciate your comments! I agree that capturing the bird doing something is a better option and I will focus on this the next time I'm there. |

Thanks Jennifer! I appreciate your comments! I agree the the blueish tone of the beak can be toned down somewhat, however my challenge is to keep it contrasted from the black background. More work to do... |

Thank you Cindy! The beak is probably more black and the bluish nature in this photo could possibly be toned down somewhat. However, I also want to keep it contrasted from the black background, so I have some work to do. Thanks for pointing this out! |

Great work Chan! Good contrast between the tree and foliage surrounding the tree. This image invokes a peacefulness which causes me to stop and and take time to contemplate. In noting the other comments, I believe the aspect of a B&W version of this photo would work well and would be very interesting to see. Thanks for sharing! |

Great photo! I love cloud photography where clouds are either the main focus or a part of the overall landscape. You have done an excellent work here with this image. The clouds are sharp and detailed, the storm provides an interesting aspect to the photo, and the blue sky background is very well contrasted with the storm clouds. This photo makes me stop and think and perhaps understand the temporary nature of the storm. Thanks for sharing this! |

Nice image! The work with both studio lighting and natural light is excellent. I also like the light/shadow contrast on the model, especially her face. The reflection off of the table adds to the quality of the photo. I agree with the above comments regarding toning down the window lighting a little and the model's right arm positioning. Great photo! Thanks for sharing! |

Nice work, great photo! This image is well composed and sharp throughout. My favorite aspect of the image is the story it tells and the emotion it creates (I laughed). This is one of those special photos that goes beyond the simple capture of a sporting event and captures the human element very well. Excellent! |

Excellent image! This is a very peaceful, meditative photo that causes the viewer to stop what they're doing and enjoy. The light/shadow contrast is excellent. I agree with the comments above...both the color and B&W are great photos, however I like the B&W better as it seems to portray the "soul" of the image. Thanks for sharing this and as always, teaching us! |
