Great image! I really like the detail in this photo. I also note that the black & white conversion is perfect for this. In my opinion, choosing to capture a portion of the cacti adds to the story line and enhances this photo! Very good, thanks for sharing! |

Very nice and interesting image. Capturing the Milky Way is difficult and you did a good job in doing so. The details along with the clouds capture my eye! As far as portrait vs. landscape, I generally prefer landscape. However, noting that you tried landscape and couldn't obtain the photo you visioned, the portrait works very well! |

Very nice image! I like the B&W conversion with this along with the sharp details of the walls, columns, etc. The blur of the people tells the story of this scene...the busyness, the hustle to get where you need to be, etc. I agree with Jennifer that you did a good job in leveling the floor. Great image and story line, thanks for sharing. |

Excellent photo with nice, sharp detail! I appreciate how you were able to get a fully sharp photo without focus stacking. I also like how you handled the color of the flower. I personally always have trouble in getting the proper color scheme with pinks, reds, and other similar colors. Thanks for sharing this and for educating me along with your camera club! |

Great images! I like both of these very much. The tone of the monochrome is excellent and allows me to pause to consider the image in more detail. I love the mood of the main image. As mentioned by Will, very peaceful, calming, and reflective. The composition and detail are perfect. Thanks for sharing these! |

Thanks Jennifer, I appreciate your comments! I agree that a better angle and a closer shot may in order here. Something to be conscious of for the next photo. |

Thanks Chan, I appreciate your comments! Out of curiosity I did look at the remanent of the pier. I didn't see any more details to determine what was there at one time. My guess is most of it washed away during one the many storms in that area. Thanks again! |
