Great image! I really like the foreground/background dynamics on this as well as the nice details on the horse itself. I agree with the comments on the mare, however in my opinion this does not distract from the image that much. Very interesting story as well. Great work, thanks for sharing! |

Sorry to be late with my comments...work schedule interference. Beautiful photo! I like the color on this and the soft focus. The composition is spot on as well. Thanks for sharing this with us! |

Good image and very interesting! I do believe it tells a story of old vs. new and is handled very well. The close up of the hands with the wireless device (new) compared with the market wares (old) tells me the story. Also, the shallow DOF of the market wares enhances this story. I agree with the above comments about the fish in the foreground and the possibility of experimenting with a little desaturation. Thanks for sharing this! |

Great action shot with excellent detail and sharpness. In my opinion, the facial expressions of the individuals in this genre is what makes the photo stand out. The facial expression of this athlete is fantastic and shows great intensity! Thanks for sharing this! |

In reading the comments above, I too agree with your comments to Lance. I really like the composition and color scheme of this photo. I also like the juxtaposing of the various fruits & vegetables, which in my opinion makes this appear more natural. You have again showed us how to make art out of the things around us, which is a great lesson for me personally. Thanks for sharing! |

Excellent image! I like the mood created by this photo...in my observation an eerie, or mysterious mood that allows the viewer to contemplate. I too like the square crop for this as well. Thanks for sharing this! |

Thanks Will! I appreciate your comments and input. I agree that not enough is in focus. I tried to correct this in post, but not able to do so. This is the nice thing about experimenting with this genre (or any genre) and the subsequent input from others is that it helps me learn. Thanks again! |

Thanks Chan! I appreciate your comments and input, especially the with focus stacking option. I have never tried this, but this seems like a good opportunity to learn. This is what I like about photography...always the opportunity to learn new things. |

Thanks Jennifer, I appreciate your comments and input. I'm realizing how difficult flowers are to photograph and present a good image, especially outdoors with the constant Michigan wind. Your thoughts on experimenting exposure/focus and looking at other works is a great idea. Thanks again! |

Thanks Lance! I appreciate your comments and instruction. This is a learning process for me and your input helps greatly. I like the B&W version and will keep this in mind for future endeavors into this genre of photography. |
