Good morning...excellent image and great story line! I like the camera angle on this, which allows me to also see the sky at dusk. I also like your handling of the individual lights...not too bright or overreaching. I always have trouble with this aspect of a holiday photo. Thanks for sharing! |

Good morning...Great image! I like the sharpness of the bird as well as the shallow depth of field. The composition is excellent. I agree with the others in removing the leaf and perhaps making the branch next to the bird not as bright. Excellent work..thanks for sharing! |

Good morning Steven...great image! I like the sharp details throughout. I also believe that the B&W version is perfect for this photo. In my opinion, the sky as you have shown is perfect for this photo. A more detailed cloud structure could possibly be a distraction (my thoughts). As it is, I can focus more on the mountain structures, trees, and other details of this photo. Excellent image...thanks for sharing! |

Good morning Chan...I would definitely consider this image art! This is very creative in taking something that you see everyday and making an artistic expression of it. I agree with others that the conversion to B&W enhances the quality of this photo. I truly appreciate your creativity...I am learning a lot! |

Good Morning... I really like these images! The main photo of the ice has great detail and tonal contrast. As others have noted, I also like the blue hue as this adds to the feeling of the cold climate as a part of the overall scene.
The original is also very interesting. I think the B&W conversion on this adds to the quality of the image.
Thank you again for posting thoughtful, creative photos that allows me to think! |

Thanks Chan! The Creating Competitive Images course is a great course, very challenging. I had an excellent instructor and learned a great deal from this course. |

Thanks Lance! I agree that the angle is a little too severe and should be adjusted, which would create a whole different effect. I hadn't noticed the spots of dust, thanks for pointing this out to me. As I mentioned to Cindy, I was probably more interested in completing an assignment for the class and moved too quickly. Thanks for your input and teaching me valuable lessons in my photography growth! |

Thanks Steven! That is a great idea to adjust the lighting to create a fade into darkness effect! I'll definitely work on that on the next photo. Thanks for your input! |

Thanks Cindy! I hadn't noticed the rings before, but should have. I needed to adjust the lighting to handle this. I was probably more interested in completing an assignment for the class and moved too quickly. Thanks for your input! |
