Thanks Cindy! I appreciate your comments and suggestions, especially the sepia tones for this photo. The overall atmosphere of this area along with the horse/carriage elements should make the sepia image very interesting. I'll have to experiment with this. |

Thanks Chan, great suggestions. I like your idea of converting to B&W, especially with the horse/carriage and the overall atmosphere of the area. I also appreciate your solution to the church steeple, which I completely missed. Thanks again! |

Thanks Lance! I missed the issue with the church steeple and should have adjusted the crop. Interesting thought on B&W, I will definitely look into that. |

Thanks! I appreciate your comments and suggestions on cropping the image. I agree, these would work better for the photo (I completely missed the church spire). |

Very good and interesting photo! The child's expression is excellent. The forearm could be distracting, however this is what you had to work with. The only thought I have is perhaps experiment with a tighter crop around the child's face and utilize a vignette. Great work in noticing whats around you and the photographic opportunities available! |

These photos really make me pause and contemplate (which was your goal). I appreciate the creativity of these photos and the overall composition. The B&W and color version together make a great contrasting pair. I also like that these photos were taken with a 50mm lens, which I do not use as much as I should. Great photos...thanks for again making me think and learn! |

This is a very good photo that peaks my interest and teaches me a lot. First it shows me the value in stretching ourselves in photography, especially since still life photography is not a strong point for me. It also shows me to have more visualization for my photos. As for this photo, I like what you did here and the creative work that you have shared. The image is sharp, well composed, and interesting to view. Thanks for sharing this... |

Great action photo! Great work in freezing the action, especially the football in the air. The facial expression of your grandson (intensity, concentration) is very good and adds to the story line. Nice work! |

I agree with all of the others...WOW! What an excellent photo! The colors are fantastic and the composition is excellent. The details of the iceberg also add to the quality of this photo! This should be framed and hang on a wall for all to see! Excellent! |

Great photo! Excellent composition, especially walking around the fountain to get a better perspective. I like the B&W conversion on this. The water droplets make the image very interesting and creative. I agree with others in possibly including a portion of the fountain. However, to me, the origin of the water droplets, whether rain or a fountain, is not an issue as it adds an aspect of mystery to the photo. |
