This is a great photo that tells a very interesting story. Street photography is very difficult with limited time to capture the "shot". However, in my opinion you nailed it with this photo, especially with the sign. I also like the black & white post processing of this image as well as I believe it adds to the story line. Thanks for posting this image and allowing me to learn from it. |

Excellent photo! I really like your use of natural light in this photo. The sharpness and overall composition is excellent. I like the use of vignettes in portrait photography in general and the reverse vignetting you have in this image really enhances the overall quality of the photo. |

Great photo! Beautiful colors and composition. I like the depth provided by the layering effect of the mountains. I use my iPhone 13 Pro to capture many images when I do not have my regular camera gear with me. I also use Snapseed to edit the images. I completely agree with Will's quote about the best camera. However I will add to this with the idea that the camera is a tool, while the photographer is the artist/creator of the photo as you have well demonstrated in this excellent image. |

This is a very good image capturing the work he is doing, especially considering how difficult street photography is and the limited time one has to capture the image. In looking at the other images you posted here, I do seem to be drawn to the 1st one that to me shows his expression and intensity in getting the work accomplished. Very well done! |

Great photo! The image is sharp throughout, including the smoke trails behind the planes. I like this sharpness, however I agree that some experimentation with the shutter speed to achieve a blurred propeller is something to consider. However, as it is here, this is a great image and very well done. |

Thanks Cindy, I appreciate your comments! A CPL is a Circular Polarizing Filter. It accomplishes several things such as reducing glare on various surfaces (water for example) and also enhances some colors in the sky and water (lakes, ponds, etc). The "circular" part allows you to adjust the amount of effect (polarization) the filter has for a particular scene by turning the filter while on the lens, before taking the photo. Here is an article which explains things better: https://digital-photography-school.com/circular-polarizing-filter-how-use/
I generally use a CPL when photographing a scene that contains a lot of sky or water (lakes, ponds, etc.). Hope this helps. Thanks again... |
