Great shot from an airplane! The window frame provides an excellent framing of the mountain and the reflection adds to the intrigue of the image. The mountain is very sharp and good use of light/shadow contrast. I also agree with lightening up the snow on the mountain a little. Excellent work! |

Great image with excellent detail. Nice work in combining the images together for the finished product. I also like the leading line composition in this image which leads my eyes throughout the photo. Nice work! |

Excellent image! The bird is very sharp, especially the eyes. The colors in this image are great, especially the bird (I have trouble with yellow, often over saturate). Nice blurred background. This image, taken with the Canon 100-400 lens, helps me understand my new Sigma 100-400 lens better as I am in the learning curve with it. Thanks for posting this! |

Nice image! I like the crop on this and the full scene aspect. The colors are well handled and stand out. Thanks for leaving the signs in the image...I never know what to do with these in my photos and I can see that, in my opinion, it does not take away from the image. I also like the vignette with this as it makes the structure really stand out. |

Interesting image! I agree with Chan that this seems to be an image more about a study of lines & color. The various lines are interesting and the colors are great. You again have challenged us to think...thank you for this! |

Thanks Will! I agree that the background is busy and distracts from the swans. I tried to darken the lily pads to bring more focus to the swans, but the background is so busy. As requested, attached is the color version that I worked with in converting to black and white. Thanks for your input and insight! |

Thanks Chan! I did try to crop out the majority of the lily pads in the image to bring attention to the swans. I did however have trouble separating the foreground swans from the detailed lily pad background. I darkened the lily pads some to try to establish contrast. I agree that the increase of exposure as done by Steven greatly improved the image and provided some of the separation desired. Thanks for your input and insights! |

Thanks Steven! I agree that my image looks flat. I tried to adjust the exposure, but could not get anything to work. I like what you've done with this image and how you adjusted the exposure, the swans really stand out and the image has some "pop" to it. I appreciate your insights and help with this. Thanks again. |
