I personally find no interest in the original photo. If I was judging it I would go Eh, and give it a 2. Their is no anchor point, the lighting is hard and the sky is just blue. By doing what you did with it, you have really improved it artistically, you can argue about whether you like what style you used, but that is just a personal preference of each person. So I thought that this image was very nice and and improvement over the original. |

I like this image, you did a great job in catching the energy in the man and the horse. Good job on rebuilding the leg and adding to the lower half of the photo. You got lucky with the day good lighting and the greyness of the sky make the subject jump off the photo. |

I feel that you did a good job with this image since it was taken in what looks to be very hard light. The tree is the upper left is a distraction only because it is black and it sticks out. I agree with Priscila that there are a few images that could be cropped out of this one and would stand on their own. |

Very nice composition. I like the flow of the lines throughout the photo. The lighted lights do take my eye off the flow of the lines too bad they were on. |

Telling us about the lens that you used helps to explain some of the aberrations in photo. One of the rules in bird photography is you do not want the back of the bird to face you. This is one of those photos where you break that rule and you get a great image out of it. To bad for the aberrations other wise this would have been a killer photograph. |

I like the use of a triptych. I have shot many airshows myself so I understand what you are trying to convey in these images and sometimes it can be difficult to highlight the fullness of the smoke trails and the planes because the smoke trails overwhelm the size of the planes. Also the use of a 135mm lens really limits you. Overall I thought the 2nd one is the best the first one has too much negative space under the planes and the third the smoke trails are to dispersed. If you plan on doing more airshows a lens that can adjust from at least 100mm to at least 400mm is the best. |
