You did a good job bringing this photo of the flower just to the edge of highlights and not blowing it out. Your eye moves around but settles naturally to the yellow center of the lily in your photo which is nice. I does help that this lily's petals to the right of the center are opened a bit breaks it up a bit. |

I really like what you did with this photo. The colors pop and you know because of familiarity that it is fall colors reflecting in water which helps the viewer connect with this image. Nice. |

I like this composition overall. Would agree with Dave about the tree. |

You cleaned the image up nicely. Need a bit of sharping in the cats eyes. Also the blur on the right side is distracting. In photoshop the fill tool would have nicely removed it. |

I like how you used the pier as a leading line out into the photo. Yes the horizon does need a bit of straightening. I feel that the two lights on the right side of the photo are a bit distracting and would help the image if removed. Now the other lights seem to blend in better as they are further into the image and you have people there also to help the eye not to be distracted by them. Also a bit of noise reduction would help clean up the photo. Nice job on having the sun not blown out in the image. |
