these birds are in the thickets, as I do agree that it would be nice to get rid of the branch I had already did a lot of cleaning up of branches and this is about as far as I could take it. |

I also do not mind softness in a flower image as it creaes a feeling of delicacy. The only suggestion I have is that if you had used a diffuser it would have helped out to bring more of the flower form out. |

I really like the image and how you incorporated the texture background. To my eye I think that adding a bit more of the stem to the left side would help, if you have it in your original. At the very least you also need to give it a bit more background room on the right. As it stands I would still give it a 9 out of 9 points. |

I appreciate the effort you did to get this image. It is a bit blown out at the top of the flower. I understand that the moon was in the photo, but I personally would have removed it as I feel it adds a bit of confusion to the viewer. |

I have to agree with Debbie and David comments. Of course you did mention that you took it on the sly so that may explain some of the softness in the arm and the un-natural angle of the image. |

a nice composition image. The stairs make a nice leading line to the building which gives an anchor to the photo and the viewers eye. A nice editing job comparing it to the original. |
