I like the lines and curves in your image. To my eyes their is not a lot of contrast in the image, lacks a bit of punch. I have found in my experience that some images just do not convert to b/w well. There is a video on YouTube, Seeing in Black and White with Eileen Rafferty. It was a B and H video. I watched this and I got a lot out of it. I have recommended it to people in the photo club and they also said the same. You may enjoy it yourself. |

My wife and I looked and studied your image. In our eyes we never really ever focused our attention on Donald's hands. Our eyes at first center on Donald then go left and right to your grandchildren. Eventually, our eyes rest back to Donald and the grandchildren faces. I thought that the mono image looked good. My wife felt the original was stronger and that you should have blurred and maybe de-saturated the colors a bit. Overall it has kids in it, making it a winner. |

I felt that you did a very good job bringing out the details in this night photo. I would agree with Shaikh Amin that removing what looks like palm trees in the upper right would strengthen the overall image. |

The sculpture is nicely in focus, with a good white balance. I notice that the horizon is not level. I would also crop the top of it down a bit. The bright colors of the flag draw my eyes toward it. I would suggest cloning it out. |

You did manage to get the bird in a good composition. I know that it was not tack sharp, but under the circumstances you got your shot. |
