Quite a capture Tom. The old mission appearance with repetitive archways invites one look deeper into the image, the stonework in subtle colors lends a calming effect. I like the contrast of the orange pottery pots and the tan and black colors. I am curious of the distance from front to back. I suspect it is less than what it is with the use of your 28mm focal distance.

I appreciate the detail Judith you have provided to assist with my exploring textures. It should prove quite helpful. My notes say I used two textures. My short hand mentioned Brick and Luminance. To me it looks like my opacity with Brick was likely between values 20 to 30.I suspect it was scene with vines growing up a brick wall. The name of the texture, Luminance, offers no help. I also suspect the opacity used was minor. |
