Your history was informative and interesting Paul. A simple historic table setting for a subject and diffused window lighting. Well framed and exposed. Nice image. |

Interesting street scene Gaetan. One with a story. It appears the owner and his pet are in sync. I agree with your cropping in. One question. With the ISO at 320 and shutter speed 1/1600, any reason not to reduce the iso two stops and reduce the ss? |

Initially my eyes are drawn around on all of the warmly lit highways circling city center, highly saturated in a photographer's almost, most attention drawing color (yellow-orange). Then, unfortunately, my eyes are being pulled away from your subject. You might try cropping off the top twenty to twenty-five percent. Very nicely done Hoshedar. |

Excellent use of contrast Tony to draw the viewer's attention to the dramatically disappearing sun and the opposite silhouette of the shipping vessel. The only tic I have is personally I would have cropped in from the right side to eliminate some of the empty space.

The warm reflection in contrast with the bright white color of the Pelican is wonderful Barbara. Sharp, in focus and pleasantly exposed. Nice photograph. |

I read the Hunter Dawson House is maintained by the state of Missouri. How nice for future generations to be able to travel back in time to a period of eloquence along the Missouri River. Inside the house, warm amber glow evenly illuminating the walls, room features, including the formatl table settings and the oil lamp glass globes. Nice steady hands Tom at 1/15 sec. Your image has captured well the sense of living in the nineteenth century.
Curious Tom, if in Lightroom one could increase the canvas size to the left, say about forty to fifty pixels, then fill with content aware, how realistic would the resulting extension appear. |
