I like how you made changes to better depict your subject, strong, stormy waves. I agree with Tom's comments. I wonder whether the detail in the fence lines and ocean waves would make this a candidate to convert to black and white Paul? |

Helen, your interesting image depicts planting a new life form in front of animals eating plants. Sorta like an oxymoron. Makes for an interesting story. The technical aspects of your image are fine. I agree with Tom's approach to crop away the portion that does not lend itself to the meaning of your images.

This is a unique night scene, Hoshedar, an unusual shaped contemporary building with intricate lit designs and strongly slow exposure of traffic red taillights. Your exposure and focus are fine. However, the surrounding lit buildings and objects can detract the viewer. he Museum of the Future building, with calligraphy, has the potential to stand our more if you would so desire.
In the attached image I cropped in from both right and left and up from the bottom and some cloning away of other slight detractions.

Your landscape image has been well managed Tony. Converting to black and white eliminates the distraction from lines, shapes, patterns and textures the color rendition causes. The upward sloping line of the hill top to the right leading the eye to what I believe is a round water tower, then to the tree line. And the noticeable decreasing contrast for a harmonious affect. Very nice Tony. |

You have captured a story of birds gathering during inclement weather to feed. Technically fine with birds and birdfeeder all in focus, with background blurred, for seperation. Harmony of colors between background and subjects - greens and tans, and at the same time, the contrast of the colors between the cardinals and the birdfeeder. Nicely accomplished Tom. |

Hoshedar, thanks. Sometimes I favor closing in on my main subject. |
