You and I are on the same page Les. This is weird at first. But you help the viewer by aptly titling your image, Damnation. In my interpretation I look upon a face with demonic forces in purple. With that, I would have toned back the balance of the mage. This would help to draw focus to the subject if you intended one. Very creative Les. |

Excellent composite Tony. The focus is tact sharp on the jets, composition is good and the color of the sky adds. I like how the cloud bridges the two subjects. |

Very nice image especially with the eye in sharp focus and with reflections. Question Barbara. At 1/100 sec. were you confident the head would not be blurred? If I were processing this image I would add the finishing touches to prevent the viewers eye from being pulled to the right. While the background is burred it also detracts. Tony's image has increased the saturation of the yellow to hold viewers attention around the head. |

I like your concept Tom; it tells a real strong story impactful with emotion. Your focus on the woman's wrist and hand is not mistaken. Composition and exposure are fine. I have offered a somewhat different perspective in the attached image. Still keeping with the woman capturing the memorial wall, with reflection of herself, I brought up the detail in the wall by brushing in more contrast. Also, her reflection on the wall. Then I backed off the brightness of her hand and jacket. |
