Not only a nice find, but at the right time for selective lighting on the reeds. Tony's suggestion of darkening the clutter of the woods serves very well. I would also suggest burning in more the tree trunk, as it pulls one view away from the subject. If ever the apparent noise or the remaining small file size became a problem, they can easily be resolved with ai software. Congratulations Paul. |

Grace, I prefer the color graded version as the coloration is harmonious. The eye is easily led to the left, simply as it is the brightest area, buy also my coloring the water orange to serve as leading lines. Within the image is a wide dynamic range to garner interest throughout your image. Well done. |

Wow, what an affect. With the brownish-orangish colored trees jumping off my screen, against the greyish limbs, grass and sofa, this image easily grabs the viewer's attention. Idea, dub in a couple skeltons seated, blow up to 6' and place in front of our house for Halloween. |

Really nice Tony. Thank you for sharing. Technically your image is sharp and in focus throughout. To my taste it is a bit too contrasty and saturated. But thats me. I agree with Barbara's suggestion to crop the right third to draw more attention to your subjects. |

I favor how well you have composited the hummingbird image over your photo of agapanthus, and your friend's suggestion as well.
In many images having a lighter background pulls one's eyes off the subject, but not here. Your color palette works well also.
Increasing the shutter speed to 1/1500 to 1/2000 second is the advice we here back east. Nice work. |

Designed like an English cottage, your photograph has captured it well technically and composition wise. Interesting color combination. One suggestion would be to convert it to sepia tone. Another thought I have is to attempt to add a third gasoline pump, with correct perspective and scale. |
