7 Jul 20 Comment Paul, I also enjoy shooting covered bridges, have even driven over to western Indiana, Parke County, considered covered bridge capitol of America, with 31. With a great subject, consistent lighting, fine lighting treatment inside, and reasonable depth-of-field. I am curious, if you recall, your reasoning for setting the aperture at f6.7. Barbara's technique for resolving the contrast range between the new and old lumber was right on. Fine image Paul. Jul 19th
7 Jul 20 Comment Capturing a greater dynamic range and the increase in detail HDR gives, with creative thinking added in, has resulted in a very fine image Grace. Impressive. I favor your lightening the pond, as the viewer's eyes are pulled down the falls into the water pond. Jul 19th
7 Jul 20 Comment This building has a lot of character, in partial decay, fading shaker shingles and door frame, boarded up windows and yes, a blue painted door. Les, your image depicts this well. I wish you could have saved the balance of the front of the building. The grass does take away. You might consider converting to monochrome. Jul 18th
7 Jul 20 Comment Interesting geometric pattern, Tony, provided by the intersecting line and tells a story. Monochrome was a good idea as color does not add. I agree with Barbara, suggesting considering cropping in from right side to convert to a vertical perspective. Jul 18th

7 Jul 20 Comment Excellent composition, Barbara, drawing the viewer's eye immediately into the flower, technically superior, tells a story with the rain droplets, and the creative blurred background. Very well photographed and processed. I do favor Tom's suggestion of eliminating the competing subjects. Jul 18th
7 Jul 20 Comment I like the composition, reminds me of the old "Golden Rule" at 40% versus today's Rule of Thirds. The close in positioning helps with making the image impactful and wow factor. Technically excellent, exceptional sharpness. Nice. Jul 18th
7 Jul 20 Comment Thank you Barbara. Interestingly I had burnt in the upper right corner to a degree. Jul 12th
