So wonderfully gifted you are, Grace, to have artistically represented this image the way you have and presented a story as well. |

An impressive image Les. You have a good eye that caught your attention. I think you are in a catch 22 here. Your motivation was to capture the light rays and the flowers. On the other hand, additional separation would be great at focusing the viewer's attention. Unfortunately, is appears by comparing your rendition to Tony's, you seem to loosen the affect of the light rays. |

Tony, I like your choice of capturing this image in macro and the sharpness obtained. I can also see softening the flower quite a bit as a popular approach for many. From my perspective I would have chosen to have diffused the strong lighting. Nice image. |

I like the lines captured for framing the owl and the artistic approach you chose with lightness. |

I also like shooting old buildings and decayed properties. I favor your perspective not being on center. Like the others in our group, I would favor creating separation and cropping in on the sky and dark tree to the right. |

Thanks for your comments Barbara. In PS I applied crop straightner to the center railing, knowing the ground was not level. The foreground shadows were opened, are you saying they look unnatural Barbara? |

Thank you Grace. Regarding adjusting the lower left side of the Gazebo I did decrease the exposure upto the grey color looked unatural. A copy of the original is attached. |
