With our description, Paul, it would be hard to picture this block without a lot of people. The exposure, focus and depth-of-field are fine. The image lighting looks a bit flat, due apparently to the heavy overcast conditions. A suggestion you might try is with a duplicate of the original increase contrast and saturation about twenty-five percent, then convert to B&W. Also does your conversion software provide a variety of preset sample images? Those could lead you to possibly an interesting interpretation. If not, playing around with the sliders could be fun. |

Your unique viewpoint with framing along with including the helicopter make this image interesting. I did take the liberty of applying Topaz Lab's new artificial sharpening tool. |

Really nice capture, Tony. So colorful and late afternoon shadowing is ideal. In the distance I favor seeing the mountain tops, so I changed the exposure and saturation of the sky. |

Nice bokah to diminish the background, subject in focus, sharp and exposure correct. Regarding your comment about noise, Barbara, have you tried the new artificial intelligenece plug-in from Topaz Labs. "aiClear" I find generally noise is reduced about 25 to 33%. |

Exciting moment to capture two bisons about to battle. Looks to me it could have been sharper. Unfortunate in the moment to have cut off some of the bison to the right side. I played around with eliminating the background, cropping - fill content aware. Then added canvas size to the foreground, again fill-content aware. |

I favor reversing the image to benefit the direction of the viewer's eye, the focus, sharpness and exposure as well. What a dichotomy you have captured, peaceful beach scene versus the roar of ocean waves. Nice image, Les. |
