Thanks Tony, although this was taken at sunrise I do favor your orange rendition. |

I like Paul how the early morning sun over your left shoulder brings out the lines, shapes and patterns with sufficient detail for interest. The rustic setting along a hillside or mountain road adds charm. From my view I would have preferred if more of the road was included, permitting some of the roadway to be continuous through the curve and for the Sugar House to have been composed higher up in the image. Nicely done. |

I favor the original true lighting rendition of the subject. As Paul writes, the image is more realistic at capturing the veteran's age, dignity and emotion.
The reversal image might have a chance if entered into print competition. |

Interesting solution to an otherwise harshly lite image, Tom. Attractive. Shame there is not a light softening edit in post to work on the hard reflection from the water. Otherwise, fine artist interpretation. |

Who would have known one could improve an image this much. Tells an interesting story of girl wading and, at least, focussed on bottom of lake,to wonderment. My main suggestion, Les, would be to lessen the lighting difference between the girl and the water to the front of her. Does not seem natural.
If you could patch or clone out the boat dock. Lovely image. |

Tony, you bamboozled us. You handled the composite process very well. Beautiful results as is. |

Nice dramatic sunset, some wave activity and interesting foreground. Well exposed and in focus. I would have kept the sunset saturation a bit less, but that is just me. |

Barbara, thank you for your suggestions. Within my reply image I have played with the clone stamp around the sunlite, and have adjusted highlights and shadows. How does this appear? |
